Connect to LDAP Server

1. Switch on LDAP-Services via Server-Admin > Adressbuch
2. Connect to LDAP-Server using your favourite LDAP-Client.

Server:
server.foo.private

Default Port:
389

Authentication:
None

Now, you should get a tree structure

  • server.foo.private
    • dc=server,dc=foo,dc=private
      • cn=users
      • cn=groups
      • cn=…

Written as LDAP-URL

ldap://server.foo.private:389/dc=server,dc=foo,dc=private
