mailServe – Catch all (Alternative Solution)

Set your mail domain name

Tab “Mail Server” > Field “Domain Name”

foo.private

Set relay for unknown users

Tab “Mail Server” > Field “Custom Postfix Settings”

luser_relay = test@foo.private
local_recipient_maps =

Hints

  • luser_relay is the local user on the machine to catch all email that does not belong to an existing local user.
  • local_recipient_maps is left blank to stop Postfix from checking if the user exists on the local machine. This is very important, without this line, Postfix will still reject the mail and send a bounce message.

Simple Solution

MailServe has a simple solution for this problem.
